As a large-scale machinery and equipment, in order to ensure the safe operation of the equipment during the operation, the grab crane equipment must be inspected and maintained after each operation.

There are many parts of grab bucket crane need to be inspected and maintained:

• Maintenance of motor and reducer. The motor and reducer have a great influence on the operating speed and efficiency of the crane.
• Maintain and inspect the motor casing, operating temperature, operating noise, vibration, etc., and solve the problems in time when problems are found, and use them correctly.
• The daily maintenance of the reducer should be carried out in accordance with the operating instructions.
• The anchor bolts of the reducer should be checked frequently, and the connection must not be loose.

• For the lubrication of the walking device, the vent cap of the reducer must be opened for the first time to ensure excellent ventilation to relieve internal pressure.
• Before working, check whether the aspect ratio of the grease surface of the reducer exceeds the stipulation.
• If it is lower than the oil surface, increase the grease of the same model and specification immediately.
• During the assembly process, the bearing of each wheel of the traveling mechanism has been filled with enough grease, and there is no need to add oil every day.
• Grease can be replenished every two months through the oil injection hole or by opening the bearing cover.
• The grease can be disassembled, cleaned and replaced once a year. Lubricate the meshing part of each open gear once a week.

• For the maintenance and maintenance of the reducer, be sure to check the lubricating oil in the reducer to see if the lubricating oil level is within the specified range.
• When the oil level is lower than the specified oil level, add lubricating oil in time.
• When the grab crane is not used frequently and the sealing conditions and use environment are good, the lubricating oil in the gearbox should be replaced regularly.
• If the use environment is relatively bad, it needs to be replaced every quarter.
• If the water or oil in the oil tank deteriorates, please change the oil immediately.
• There are also relevant operating instructions when changing the oil, and the oil should be replaced correctly.

Grabs are generally used on cranes, mainly for loading and unloading of goods. If the maintenance of the grabs is not done well, long-term contact with external water and air will cause damage to the surface of the grabs, or even produce Some corrosion seriously affects the normal use of the grab. After using the grab bucket, the grab bucket should be stored properly to prevent improper storage from affecting the normal use of the grab bucket.
